Terms of Membership

1. Who we are

Signed on Purpose ("Signed", "we", "us") is a modeling-education membership. The seller is Signed on Purpose, operated by Garang Majok, and these Terms are an agreement between you and the seller. KONTINU INC runs the website and technology for Signed.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

You agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (signedchallenge.com/privacy) in one of two ways:

by ticking the box when you buy, or
if you're moving from Skool, by accepting them the first time you log in on our site.

If you don't agree, don't buy and don't move your membership. Nothing is accepted for you by default.

3. Who can use Signed

You must be 18 or older to use Signed On Purpose.
You must give true information and keep your email current.
One membership is for one person. Don't share your login.

4. The $30 membership

The standard membership is monthly access to the Signed community. It gives you:

access to the Signed content and classroom,
the community, including Garang answering members' questions, and
group feedback from Garang inside the community. Members can share photos, height and city in the group for feedback.

Your blueprint (one time). When you join, Garang prepares a one-time personal plan for you, called your blueprint: a portfolio review, a social media audit, agencies near you, brands that fit your look and a step-by-step plan. It is delivered within 24 hours or less after you send your details on the intake form. It is included once per membership, not every month.

Your blueprint is education and guidance. No guarantee of representation, signing, bookings or income.

Ongoing personal one-to-one portfolio reviews and coaching are part of Premium only (section 8). After your one-time blueprint, the $30 membership includes group feedback, not ongoing personal reviews.

We may improve, update or change content and features over time. If we remove something central to what you paid for, we'll tell you, and you can cancel.

5. Price, billing and auto-renewal

The standard membership is $30 USD per month. The price, billing interval and renewal terms are shown on the offer page and on Stripe's checkout before you pay.
Members who joined on an earlier, lower-priced plan keep their price, applied as a discount, for as long as they stay continuously subscribed.
Your membership renews automatically every month on the same date, and your payment method is charged each month until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. We never see or store your card number.
After you buy, you'll get a confirmation email with the price, the billing interval, the auto-renewal terms and how to cancel.
Price changes: we'll email you before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments: if a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If the payment can't be collected, your access may pause or end.
Moving from Skool: Skool payment details can't be transferred, so you re-subscribe once through Stripe Checkout.
- If you've already paid on Skool for the current period, your first Stripe charge waits until that paid period ends, so you aren't charged twice.
- We cancel your Skool billing after the move.
- If you're ever double-charged, contact us and we'll fix it.

6. Cancelling

Cancel anytime at signedchallenge.com/manage. This is Stripe's Customer Portal: sign in with your email and choose cancel. Cancelling online is as easy as buying. You can also email hello@signedchallenge.com and we'll cancel for you.
Cancelling stops all future charges. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your access continues until then.
Cancelling doesn't delete your data by itself. See the Privacy Policy, or ask us to delete it.

7. Refunds

No refunds, cancel anytime. Your blueprint (section 4) is delivered within 24 hours or less, so all sales of the $30 membership are final. Cancel anytime and you won't be billed again. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period (section 6).
Premium: no refunds, cancel anytime. Cancel at signedchallenge.com/manage and you won't be billed again. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Earlier purchases: if you bought before these Terms were updated, the refund terms in effect when you bought apply to that purchase.
Outside these cases, payments for a billing period that has started are not refunded. You can still cancel anytime so you aren't charged again.
If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we'll review it. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under law.

8. Premium

What it is: Premium is coaching plus access to Garang's time and network. This is where personal one-to-one portfolio reviews happen.
Network access means introductions only. When Garang judges you're ready, he may introduce you to agencies or industry contacts. We don't act as your agent or manager, and we don't negotiate or book work for you.
No commissions or finder's fees. We don't take a commission on your modeling earnings, and we don't take finder's fees from you or from any agency or client for an introduction.
No required photographer. You're never required to use, or pay, a particular photographer, studio or vendor.
No guarantee: Premium does not guarantee any bookings, contracts or outcomes. That includes representation, signing and income. Agencies and clients make their own decisions.
Where it's offered: Premium is currently offered only to buyers in Texas. Buyers outside Texas are placed on a waitlist and aren't charged.
Price: the Premium price is shown on the offer page and at checkout before you pay. Premium renews automatically until you cancel, and sections 5, 6 and 7 apply.
New-member price: right after you join the $30 membership, a one-time page offers Premium at $10 for your first month, then $25/month. That $10 first month is offered only on that page. If you join Premium later, it's $25/month.
Upgrades: an upgrade from the $30 membership to Premium is prorated. You pay only the difference for the rest of your current billing period, and the full Premium price applies from your next renewal.
Refunds: no refunds, cancel anytime (section 7).

9. No guarantees

No guarantee of representation, signing, bookings or income.
We share education, feedback, plans and, for Premium, introductions. We don't promise, and nobody can promise, representation by any agency, a contract, bookings, income or any result in any time frame.
Agencies and clients make their own decisions. Your results depend on your own work and on many things outside our control.
Any examples or stories we share are individual. They are not typical results and they are not guaranteed.
We are not a modeling or talent agency or manager.

10. Community conduct

To keep the community safe and useful, you agree to these rules:

Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate, threats or discrimination.
No spam, scams, solicitation, recruiting members into other paid programs, or "pay to be signed" offers.
No sexual or explicit content, and nothing that sexualizes anyone.
Don't share other people's personal information, photos or contact details without their permission.
Don't ask any member to meet in person, move to another app, or share private photos.
Report anything that worries you to hello@signedchallenge.com.

We may remove content, or suspend or end a membership, for breaking these rules. Any refund rights you have under section 7 or under law still apply.

11. Your content

You own what you post, such as questions, comments, photos and portfolio material.
You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display and use it inside Signed, only to run the community and give you feedback.
We won't use your photos, name or likeness in marketing or publicly without your separate written permission.
Only post content you have the right to share. Photographers may own the rights to photos of you, so make sure you're allowed to share them.
You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
When Signed moved from Skool, members' own posts and comments were not transferred.

12. Our content

Signed content (lessons, plans, templates, PDFs and videos) is owned by us or our licensors. It's for your personal, non-commercial use while your membership is active. Don't copy, resell, publish, record or share members-only content or your login.

13. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Signed is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by agencies, clients, photographers or other third parties.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that can't be limited by law.

14. Ending the membership

You can end your membership anytime (section 6).
We may end or suspend it if you break these Terms or don't pay.
We may also stop offering Signed. If we do, we'll give you notice first and stop future charges.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
Disputes go to the courts located in Texas, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
If the consumer laws where you live give you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll email members before it takes effect, and where required we'll ask you to accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies.
